Gate valve
The gate valve uses the simplest and oldest mechanism to control fluid flow. For a long time, to control the flow of water in the stream, a rectangular valve was used, which was placed on both sides in a grooved frame. In these valves, the valve sliding valve, which can have rectangular or round shapes, is stopped in the groove of the fluid passage seat, and vice versa, when this sliding valve reaches its highest position, the fluid continues its path without any resistance and pressure drop. These valves in the industry are usually in the form of flanges and gaskets or gaskets are used to prevent leakage.
