Sound Analyzer
A sound analyzer is a test and measurement device that is objectively measured to measure the sound performance of electronic and electro-acoustic devices. Sound quality criteria include a range of parameters, including surface sound, gain gain, noise, harmonic and distortion intermodulation, frequency response, relative phase of the audio signal, interference between channels, and so on. In addition, many manufacturers of audio analyzers are tested and have compliance with the functional requirements and standards required to connect audio devices.
For audio analysis, an excitation signal of known characteristics must be received from the device under test, and by comparing the output signal (response) with the sound analyzer, the differences expressed in specific measurements are determined. This signal may be generated or controlled by the analyzer or it may be from another source (for example, a recording), as long as the characteristics of the measurement are defined.
